6th May 2015
6:30pm - 9:00pm

torbreck-the-laird-large-image2

We are very pleased to announce that we will be offering the first launch tasting of the May release of the 2010 Torbreck the Laird Shiraz. This wine comes from a single vineyard and therefore is only made in small quantities and only in the finest vintages. This vineyard is one of the most famous in the Barossa Valley and is the envy of all winemakers in the region.

With the price tag over $700 a bottle, it sits at the throne of the Australian Wine Industry, higher than that of Penfolds Grange and Henschke Hill of Grace.

The 'baby brother' to this wine, 2010 Torbreck RunRig was awarded 100 Points by The Wine Advocate and sold out very quickly. The Laird is destined to receive the same level of recognition and will also be in very high demand.

As well as tasting The Laird, we will be showcasing other Torbreck wines from both the 2012 and 2013 vintages. With 2012 destined to be as good, if not better than the stunning 2010 vintage, we are extremely excited to host Torbreck for their third tasting at Artisan Global 3PL Beverage Logistics.

Wines include:

- 2013 The Steading Blanc

- 2012 The Steading GSM

- 2013 The Struie

- 2012 The Pict

- 2012 The Gask

- 2012 The Factor

- 2012 Descendant

This launch event is possibly the only opportunity to not only taste The Laird, but also to purchase the wine before it all sells out.

Do not hesitate to reserve your chance to experience one of Australia's benchmark wines!
